Amber Gilbert
Executive Director

Amber Gilbert is a passionate advocate for the arts and a dedicated leader in Westland, Michigan. As the Executive Director of Develope’ Dance Project, her heart for service shines through. Amber holds a BS in Dance and Business from EMU and brings over 33 years of teaching experience, along with 25 years as a successful dance studio owner in Westland. She also serves the community on the PRAC and frequently volunteers at their events, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Christina Letizio
Director of Communications
Christina’s journey in dance is fueled by her passion for working with children and her dedication to mentoring the next generation. She has a degree in human development and family studies, specializing in early childhood education and is the community coordinator and team director at a local studio. Christina’s commitment to excellence ensures she thrives in her leadership role as our Director of Communications, making a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families we serve.

ML Edmonson
Director of Finance & Administration
ML is passionate about mentoring the next generation and ensuring they understand the lifelong benefits of dance. With expertise spanning from classical ballet to Latin dance, ML guides families through the dance world with clarity and care. His intellectual approach and attention to detail have made him an integral part of our organization as our Finance & Administrative Director ensuring our mission stays on track.
Arleth Gonzalez
Director of Development
Arleth recognizes that ongoing education is key to teaching and inspiring the next generation of dancers. Her passion for sharing the arts with children is evident in her role as Team Director at her studio. She holds certifications in Cecchetti Teacher 1, Progressive Contemporary Technique, and UNLV Teacher 1, and is currently pursuing CNADM Certification. As our Director of Development, Arleth’s drive for success and commitment to education make her an invaluable leader in our mission.
Madelyn Duhr
Director of Early Childhood Programming
Maddie’s passion for dance and dedication to children’s education shape her work as our preschool program leader. With a degree in business and dance from WSU, she teaches our GSRP early childhood classes, bringing creativity, expertise, and a deep love for the arts to every lesson. Maddie also volunteers with our non-profit and teaches at a local studio, making her an invaluable part of our team.
